Privacy Policy

Last updated September 4, 2026. This policy describes how Paper Format Check handles your information when you use the checker, create an account, or buy a check pack.

Paper content

Paper text and DOCX files you submit are sent only to the secure checker API. DOCX metadata is discarded on upload, temporary encrypted objects are deleted within 30 minutes, and paper content is excluded from logs and optional analytics. AI receives only redacted finding fragments — never your full paper.

Optional analytics

GA4 and Microsoft Clarity are denied by default and may load only after consent. Clarity is disabled on tool, auth, account, and checkout contexts. Analytics parameters may contain page type and fixed action categories, but never paper text, citations, references, file names, email, account IDs, payment IDs, or explanations.

Accounts and payments

Accounts use secure server sessions. Payments are processed by Stripe Checkout; card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored on this site. We keep purchase records — pack, amount, date, and Stripe identifiers — to operate your purchased checks and to meet legal and tax retention requirements.

Your choices

You can reject optional analytics without losing checker functionality and reopen Cookie Settings at any time. You can reopen Cookie Settings at any time to change your analytics choice. To delete your account and the data associated with it, use the Contact page or email support@paperformatcheck.com.
